Home is a 2015 animated sci-fi buddy-comedy film by 20th Century Fox and DreamWorks Animation. The film stars the voice talents of Jim Parsons, Rihanna, Steve Martin, and Jennifer Lopez. It was released on March 27, 2015.

Plot

Led by Captain Smek (Steve Martin), an alien species called the Boov escapes from their planet to Earth in order to hide from their enemy, the Gorg, who is bent on destroying them. Smek convinces his race that humans are simple-minded and need to be taken care of. The Boov, believing they know what's best for the humans, relocate them to Happy Humans Town, an amusement park in Australia.

The Boov populate the inhabitable regions of the earth. Oh (Jim Parsons), an unusual Boov who is forever the optimist, throws a party, hoping to finally make friends. He invites his "neighbors", but no one attends. No Boov wants to associate with Oh because he is considered an outcast "who always messes things up". He decides to invite traffic officer Kyle (Matt Jones), his "best friend", to the party. Kyle is directing traffic when Oh sends an e-vite. However, Oh clicks the "Send All" button instead of "Send". This sends the e-vite to everyone in the universe, including the Gorg, meaning they would have to flee again. Kyle attempts to arrest Oh, who is now a fugitive. He must run or be captured and destroyed.

Meanwhile, Gratuity "Tip" Tucci (Rihanna) was able to escape relocation because her cat, Pig, was stuck on her head when everyone else was being transported. She wants to find her mom (Jennifer Lopez) and know she can't stay hidden from the Boov much longer. She takes off in her car and stops at a convenient store for food, wrecking her car. She bumps into Oh, who is also looking for food. She throws a freezer with broom through the door handles. Oh makes a bargain with her that if he fixes her car, he can come out of the freezer.
